Sunday, April 27th, 2008 -- Prayer Request
“If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' love those who love them.”
-Luke 6:32-
“The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks.”
-Luke 6:45-
I haved learned a lot from these two versus from the book of Luke. I learned from 6:32 is that you need to love everyone, not just the people who love you. If you love only the people who love you, where does that get you? It gets you no where, and fast. If you want to get to heaven, you need to learn to love everyone, and yes, even the people who don't love you. What I learned from 6:45 is that whatever you say, it comes from your heart, and if you don't want anything "bad" to come out, then watch what you say.
I just have a few prayer request for you dudes and dudettes to pray over, if you will:
--I'm at $1800 out of $3100 for support for Ghana. Let's all hope that God will raise up the rest for me to go.
--Unity among the Ghanan summer projectians, and the other International and State Side summer projectians.
--All Summer Projectians able to raise enough support.
--Everyone grows more spiritually deeper with God this summer, at any stage in life, from babies to senior citizens.
--The University of Cape Coast students hearts are open to hear the word of Jesus Christ and hearts willing to open up for His word.
--The micro-clinic to open up and ready to go when the Ghanan team arrives.
--Everybody grows deeper in faith with God this summer and ready to share (all those who are going on Summer Projects).

Kick Off Weekend 2008
Hey, yeah, this is new for me to do these blogs and such. But I thought I'll do blogs to keep everyone on what's going on over in Ghana this summer and before, which I am doing now. I'll be trying to post things up every once in a while over in Ghana, but there's no guarentee on my part, I don't know if I can get to a computer that often, but if I do, I'll try to you guys posted.
I got back today from the Kick Off Weekend down in the cities. What is the Kick Off Weekend, you ask? Good question. Good answer is: All the international summer projects got together and meet each of their group members and got more information on what they're going to be doing while on summer project. Yeah, fun stuff. Dig it.
I had a great weekend this past weekend. Friday night we all, well, not all, but most of us hung out in room 203 in the Double Tree and got to know each other. Memories are great. We did the same thing Saturday night, but in room 503. What a weird thing, both rooms were the guys' rooms. Very vierd (I know I spelt it wrong, Goldmember reference in Austin Powers in Goldmember). But yeah, it seems like we all knew each other for a long time, even though we only meet two days ago.
This blog is short and sweet, I know, I should be working on some Symbolic Logic right now, but I'm typing this instead. Ha!
Anyways, yeah, let me know in any fashion you can about my blogs. Via e-mails, letters, phone calls, facebook (for all you facebook subscribers), or, well, in person, if you see me in person. Letters and phone calls won't be possible in Ghana, sorry, and I don't know if I can check my e-mail in Ghana. Yeah.
